General Information

Dear Middle School Learning Partners,

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself.  My name is Roland and I am looking forward to being your PE teacher this year.  I was born and raised in New York, USA.  I have studied in Atlanta, Georgia where I went to University and competed in Cross Country and Athletics/Track and Field. 

I have always loved all different kinds of sports, especially soccer, ice hockey, tennis, hiking, and skiing.  I believe sport is an integral part of life and is a unique way of bringing people together in a positive and joyful manner.

Middle School Learning Partners will have sports on Thursdays, after lunch break.  I expect everyone to attend PE classes and to participate to the best of their ability.  If Learning Partners are excused from participation by letter, they are not required to dress for PE, but they are still expected to come to class to acquire knowledge because PE and sports will be formally assessed.

I look forward to seeing all of you at our first class this Thursday, August 23rd.  Please bring appropriate athletic dress and footwear.
